6 Social Media Scheduling Tools To Perfect Your Strategy

4 Scheduling Tools to Perfect Your Social Media Strategy

Social media marketing is here to stay and it feels like every day, a new social network arrives on the scene. However, it is becoming increasingly time-consuming to post on and monitor every social network we have accounts with. If you find yourself a little crunched for time, or simply want to be as productive as possible, consider a social media management program. These programs allow you to post to multiple accounts at the same time and monitor all of your feeds in one place. No more logging in to half a dozen accounts a day to engage with followers—you just need one account, and done! There are plenty of options out there, so in the spirit of saving time, we’re giving you the lowdown on a few of our favorite services.

1. Hootsuite

If you are familiar with social media management programs then you have likely heard of Hootsuite. The popular system is easy to use and can manage more than 35 different social networks. Start with a free account that allows you to post and schedule in advance for three accounts. You can upgrade to unlimited accounts and unlimited scheduling. The upgrade also includes teamwork features and reports on how your accounts are performing.

3. Tailwind

This is the Pinterest scheduling tool of all scheduling tools! With analytics features, draft modes, easy team collaborations, and much more, Tailwind is one of our favorite tools at Bloguettes. It also has a great “Pin Inspector” tool that lets you know which pins are seeing the best engagement!

4. BoardBooster

While BoardBooster also has a Pinterest scheduling tool, we mainly use it to “loop” our pins on Pinterest! Looping is basically a feature that let’s you “override” the Pinterest algorithm a little bit. Basically, you select how many of your oldest pins on your board you want to “loop” each day, and it will repin those pins to your board – therefore making them “new” repins that show in your followers feed. After a certain number of days, BoardBooster will delete whichever pin as the least amount of repins. It’s amazing!

Price: Starts at $5 a month

5. Buffer

Want to get the most bang for your buck? Alongside all of the usual scheduling and posting features, Buffer will schedule your posts for when they will get the most visibility. Part of a team? Use their collaboration features to make sure you’re all on the same page. Start with a free account and if you love it—there are a variety of upgrades to choose from!

Price: Starts at $10 a month

6. Sprout Social

Sprout Social is a bit of an investment, but the features are worth it for businesses with a larger marketing team. Perks include:

  • One inbox to store all your accounts’ messages for quick reading and responses
  • Alerts when chosen keywords are utilized

One thing we especially love is that Sprout Social is designed for teamwork.
