5 Ways To Feed Your Wanderlust

Share

Meet Taylor! Our cute-as-a-button creative intern is super talented behind a computer, but that doesn’t stop her from getting outside! Read along as Taylor tells you some of her favorite ways to feed her wanderlust!

Take a Hike

Being outdoors is something I absolutely love! Whether it’s spending the day at the beach or ending the day with a rooftop sunset, getting outside is so refreshing. Do something adventurous. Wake up early and hike up a mountain to see the sunrise. Get outside and explore your surroundings. Enjoy the sunshine. Take in your surroundings and pay attention to the details!

Embark on a Day Trip

Go on a day trip to a new place. There is so much freedom and excitement going to new places. One of the easiest ways to discover a new destination is through food. Go to a new restaurant or try looking up different coffee shops or cute places that serve acai bowls. Go somewhere you have never been before. You’ll learn something different and meet new people along the way.

Live Vicariously Through Travel Bloggers

Whenever I’m scrolling through my Instagram feed, I often come down with a serious case of wanderlust. I could look on there for hours, imagining myself to be at these tropical destinations with perfect beach views. Whether you’re planning your next trip or want to live vicariously through a jet-setting Instagrammer, take a little break and get lost in the beauty of some of your favorite travelers!

Get Lost & Take a Drive with No Destination

Hopefully you don’t think I’m literally telling you to get lost. But seriously! Turn on some of your favorite music and just enjoy the ride. You never know what new sights and places you will discover and be able to share with your friends. Speaking of friends, take a few along with you for some extra special memories, and go where the road takes you!

Take a Camera With You Everywhere

Take your camera everywhere! Taking photos is one of my favorite things to do! Whenever I go on an adventure, I make sure to bring my Canon along. You don’t have to have a DSLR. You could bring a Rangefinder, your Instax Mini, or even a disposable. You will see the world differently and capture the moments that you will have forever. You will also develop better camera skills, and have a better understanding of your camera’s settings and functions. After all, you only get to see this moment once! Don’t lose it!
