Social media management is such a big part of successful marketing campaigns these days. However, it can be tricky to know exactly where to begin! Who do you follow? How often should you post? Is my account connecting with the right people? Well, you’re not alone in this ever-changing market. We did some research and found an app that can be your right hand!

Self-described as “your super-smart marketing sidekick,” the app Crowdfire is designed to help you grow online every day. Between curating content to keep your timeline active, monitoring your accounts to schedule posts for the best time of day, and even finding more people in your target audience, Crowdfire is here to help.

Since Crowdfire has so many features and somewhere around 15 million users, we thought we’d give it a try!

Our First Impression:

Surprisingly conversational with an iMessage format, the process of getting everything set up is very intuitive for a first-time user!

The Process

Initially, the app walks you through steps to determine whether it’s for your own personal use, for business, or for sales. This way, it can target your specific needs. Crowdfire also asks what you want to be “internet famous” for. You can select up to 3 different categories from a variety of options like blogging, beauty, travel, business, real estate, and more!

Once you sign in with either your Instagram or Twitter login, the app will run diagnostics on your profile and create “prescriptions” to use for improvement. For this trial run, we ran our Twitter through their system.

Crowdfire made sure our bio was relevant to what we offer and our brand, if our icon and banner images were in sync with our profile, and if the link listed was directing users to the correct content on our site. Crowdfire will also give you an option to unfollow inactive accounts, or accounts that don’t follow you back.

Another cool feature of Crowdfire is that you can pick what the suggested Twitter accounts are when someone views your profile. This way, users who stop by your page get an idea as to what kind of content you produce. You can also set up an automatic DM to send as soon as you have a new follower… this is the app that really keeps on giving!

Once all of that is complete, Crowdfire will provide articles to choose from within the content you produce or want to be “famous for.” For example, if you want to be known for providing productivity tips, Crowdfire will pull articles about productivity from a content aggregator like Medium! This can help to keep your timeline active!

In addition to these nifty features, Crowdfire offers so much more! Here’s a quick overview of some of the other ways the app can help you grow your brand:

Other Features

  1. 1

Crowdfire can sync up with your Pinterest account!

  2. 2

You can schedule posts for the next week within the app for Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.

  3. 3

New “prescriptions” are provided every 24 hours, which will help keep your accounts up-to-date.

Pricing

At this point, I’m sure you’re wondering, “How much does Crowdfire cost?” Well, this depends on how you’re using it. Crowdfire offers several different plans, so you can pick the one that’s best suited to your needs! Here’s the breakdown:
