I think this book is perfect for anyone just getting started in their career field! It really gives great advice for starting out at the entry level position and making it to the top!
Did you learn anything from the book that surprised you?
I was surprised to read that Nicole (the author) did not have a college degree. She is so talented and is an amazing business woman, so I would have thought that she went to school for years! I was so impressed by Nicole and I am inspired by all of her work!
What was your favorite quote from the book?
My favorite quote is, “Be a person that shows up early, is prepared, asks questions, and leaves a meeting committed to accomplishing those action items.” I really feel like this quote is perfect for event planning, because doing these things can help you to plan the best event and get ahead so it’s executed in the best way possible!
“Be a person that shows up early, is prepared, asks questions, and leaves a meeting committed to accomplishing those action items.”
