Our first-ever branding workshop was held in Scottsdale, AZ. We taught the class right here at the Bloguettes’ studio, and although it definitely made for a more intimate setting, it made networking and getting to know one another a breeze! In just two short days, our students learned what it takes to brand a business. Through a series of hands-on lessons and open discussions, the students left the class with the ability to design their own headers, logos, and collages via Photoshop, how to grow their following and drive traffic using social media, how to take better photos and edit them more efficiently, how to monetize their blogs and social media channels, and how create blog content that creates buzz and is search engine optimized. Don’t let all that blog jargon fool you though–we had a lot of fun too! Check it out!
And of course, it wouldn’t be a workshop without all the sponsors. Kaleidoscope Juice provided us with fresh juice each morning! Our goody bags were made by 224 Apparel, and provided our Bloguettes with our biggest and best secret: “Just keep going.” Inside each bag was a neon mini-banner from our friend at The Banner Shoppe, some pre-mixed chalk finish paint from Urban Oasis Decor, a lacy flower crown from Royal Bowtique, a pack of bright hair ties in Bloguettes colors from The Glitter Revival, a pair of candy-colored studs from Fresh Picks, a delicate silver branch necklace from Firefly Collections, fun nail stickers from Jamberry Nails, a tie-up bag from Ladibug Love, OPI nail polish from Jennica Maes, earrings from Sarah Briggs Jewelry and a greeting card and gift tag from Floating Specks.
