Seattle is the queen city of the Pacific Northwest–you can just get lost in the markets, great coffee, fresh flowers, beautiful food, and the rainy days. It’s truly a place to put on your bucket list! With this city guide, you’ll know all of the most ‘grammable places in the Emerald City.
Read along as bloggers Morgan Lillian, Brittany Streissguth, and Nikki Davis guide us on a tour of Seattle with their recommendations for favorite coffee shops, restaurants, sights to see, and places to go!
Frankie & Jo’s: Nikki says this has been the “go-to” spot lately! It’s a brand new vegan ice cream shop and they even have some ice cream without sugar…so obviously, you can scarf down the whole thing. The line is always out the door, they have such unique flavors & it’s so, so yummy!!
Molly Moon Ice-Cream: This one of Seattle’s most popular ice cream shops! There’s nothing healthy about this place, but it’s just about the best ice cream you’ll ever have. “Sea Salt Caramel” & “Stumptown Coffee” are Nikki’s two favorite flavors!
Cherry Street Public House: In the heart of Pioneer Square, Cherry Street Public House is a great place to hang with your laptop and a coffee and try one of their fresh lunch options.
Places To Stay
Beecher’s Loft, The Inn At The Market: One of the best views in the city can be found here. You might have to pay a hefty price for this exclusive apartment style room above the market, but the photo is worth it, right? Make sure to stop by Cafe Campange during your stay, it’s right outside your door!
Kimpton Palladian Hotel: A Kimpton Hotel that lives up to its reputation. Gorgeous white, black and gold details, and request (almost) any male celebrity you can think of to be on a pillow waiting for you.
Hotel Max: The “Seattle Doesn’t Settle” wall has become an Instagram hotspot, and the hotel has a beautiful, modern flare that has become a destination for visitors and locals alike.
Mr. West Cafe: Blogger favorite, succulent fan favorite, and happy hour enthusiast favorite. You can’t go wrong with this eye pleasing cafe and bar. White marble, green plants, and leather chairs make for the perfect afternoon or early evening stop. It’s impossible to go here without capturing a shot for your Instagram aesthetic!
Cafe Campagne: The only Parisian vibes you can find in Seattle! Make sure to wait for a table outside–it’s worth the wait! Not to mention, it’ll make your photos 10x better.
Saint Helens Cafe: Velvet, marble, and a bottle of rose…sounds like a blogger’s dream if you ask me. Ask for a booth table to get the perfect shot of your brunch, lunch, or dinner!
Thank you to @clarisonic for the amazing brunch & goodies the other day 🤗💕 My skin already feels so soft… even Brandon was like "Dang your skin looks nice!!". Usually I notice the difference, so it's a big compliment that Brandon noticed it too 😉 I also got an anti aging one too cause ya know gotta keep myself looking like 👰🏽 & not 👵🏻! I've linked the ones I got so you guys can try them out for yourself 💆🏽✨ & how cute is this brunch spot?!? I've already planned to go back this week 😂💁🏽💐 http://liketk.it/2rKES #liketkit @liketoknow.it
Bar Melusine: According to Nikki, everyone has been going here & posting about it so obviously she HAD to see what the hype was about. She says the seafood bar was incredible. Welcome to Seattle – seafood city folks!
Copal: Copal is new-ish to the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Rotating slushy flavors are always a must-have, the watermelon salad is so fresh and tasty, and they have amazing tacos! And for their Instagram part–their solid coral staircase is a feast for the eyes.
Tallulah’s: It’s hard to beat brunch in Seattle, and Tallulah’s should definitely be on your list! Cashmere the Cat is a Seattle icon.
Restoration Hardware: Restoration Hardware’s new location at University Village will leave you in awe, and a couple hours later you’ll find yourself being asked to leave after overstaying your welcome (taking one too many photos and not buying enough furniture). It’s worth it for the perfect shot!
The Bravern: Instagrammer Nikki loves The Bravern! She says, “EEK. Well I LOVE shopping so naturally I think that’s a must do while in the city. The Bravern is so fun, I also love Bellevue Square, University Village & Pacific Place. Make sure to get some good shopping in!”
Mooreaseal: Mooreaseeal is a Seattle staple. It’s beautifully curated and soon to be in a bigger space in the heart of downtown!
Places To Go
Beaches: Take a ferry over to Alki Beach West Seattle (one of Seattle’s most famous beaches). Speaking of beaches–check out Golden Garden’s & Discovery Park if you’re looking for some more cute beaches!
International District Bridge: Of course views of the Space Needle are what everyone is after when they come to Seattle, but the paths less traveled and this view from the south end has become a city favorite.
Really missing this overcast, rainy and cold weather of Washington today 😭🙌🏻 • • Especially since it's supposed to hit the 120's here in Phoenix! 🙄☀️ • • • • • • • #phxblogger #seattlebloggers #seattle #washingtonstate #pikesplacemarket #olympiawashington #ArizonaHeat #blogger #blogging #writing #writersofinstagram
Pikes Place Market: Lily’s go-to place is the famous Pikes Place. You can’t say you went to Seattle if you didn’t stop by first. It’s basically a huge market center and has much for you to discover. Rows of flower vendors, home grown fruits and vegetables, and freshly caught fish can be purchased. Don’t forget to also take a cute picture in front of the famous sign.
