This past weekend we took our two-day branding workshop to LA! While there were no celebrity sightings (we crossed our fingers for a Kardashian, but no such luck!), we DID get a chance to connect with the amazing blogging and creative community that the city is known for. In case you missed the one million and one (that’s a rough estimate) pictures posted on Instagram from this past weekend’s LA workshop, or are maybe just hankering for another dose, here’s a recap of what all went down. Take a look if you like, and as always, more can be found in our gallery!
It all went down at Hudson Loft, a beautiful, “blank canvas” kinda space located in Downtown LA. These floor to ceiling windows provided just the right amount of natural light, which made taking good pictures easy.
Amy Does Flowers dressed up the space with tropical blooms on the tables and huge palm leaves hanging from the ceiling, creating one of the coolest photo backdrops we’ve ever seen.
Breakfast and lunch were both provided by our workshop sponsor, The Kitchen For Exploring Foods, and believe us when we say the pictures do not do the food justice. I mean, homemade pop tarts? Enough said.
These kitschy totes were sponsored by Taryn St. Michele. She also threw in some of her signature gold foil lip prints!
Jenny from Margo and Me came to guest speak and share all her blogging experiences with our students. We couldn’t get enough of her! She’s one of those people who is just as cool in person as she seems online!
Ok, so if you follow us on Snapchat, you may have already seen these genius gloves. They’re called Happy Hands, and they’re the original UV nail glove. They were created to protect hands under harsh UV light while getting gel manicures, but we love rocking them while driving as well!
And there’s the whole crew! Thanks so much for having us LA!
