Meet the newest member of the B-Team, Ananza! She was our Events intern for 2 semesters in a row and is now our Operations Manager for our stock photography company, Stock That Rocks! Get to know her and learn all about her role here at Bloguettes in her Q&A below!

What is your favorite part about working at Bloguettes?

My favorite part about working at Bloguettes is definitely the creative environment and the amazing people. I am a firm believer that your work environment can make or break your productivity (and boy do we have to be productive). What I was drawn the most to Bloguettes as an intern was how productive each day is along with how supportive each Bloguette is to one another. I love that we are all so comfortable being ourselves and making the most out of each day, even when there are a million and one things to do in a single hour. Everyone is filled with so many different ideas and if we are challenged with implementing creativity into something, all that we have to do is work together to come up with a successful idea or outcome. Each day is so different and we always try and mix it up to balance work and fun, which is we have our team events and random outings. The bulk Costco snacks are definitely a plus too!

Tell us a little bit about what you do day-to-day as the Operations Manager for Stock That Rocks!

As the Operations Manager for Stock that Rocks, my job is to make sure that everything remains organized and in order. I plan, schedule, and coordinate each stock photoshoot in we try to have one every week. In planning the stock photo shoots, I work closely with the photography department and I also manage the back end functions of our website, monitor STR sales, memberships, and social media, reach out to new brands to work with for shoots, work with the marketing team to come up with new strategies for STR marketing, and basically all things Stock that Rocks!

Name 3 skills you need to be successful in your job position.

  1. 1

    Time Management

  2. 2

    Creativity

  3. 3

    Organization

Finish this sentence: The motto of my life is…

Nothing worth having comes easy.

What do you like to do in your free time?

What I do in my free time all depends on the mood I am feeling. Some days I have nothing but energy, and some days all I want to do is chill out! I love hanging out with my friends,  exploring different parts of the city, and trying new places to eat and shop (typical girl right). Laying out by the pool is one of my favorite past times, but if I am feeling adventurous, I am always down for a hike or an outdoor activity. I almost ALWAYS enjoy lounging in the bed, watching beauty videos on YouTube, and sleeping when I have nothing else to do…. it never fails.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be an actress….so badly! I was an only child growing up so I had an insane imagination in which they sky was the limit. I would often sing and dance to myself (still do), and I would often pretend that I was attending a big event or winning an academy award for best actress. In my younger years, I used to participate in a lot of school plays and I was a member of an acting school, but unfortunately life took over. Maybe one day I can still fulfill that secret dream….

What are your top 5 tips for staying organized?

    Pay attention

  2. 2

Create a workable daily task list

  3. 3

    Write EVERYTHING down

  4. 4
