Say hello to our new Executive Assistant, Anica! She hopped on board and had no trouble adjusting to the fast pace (and sometimes crazy) vibe of the office. Whether she’s answering the phones or responding to our endless Info email, she does it all with a smile and some impeccable hairstyles!

What do you love most about working at Bloguettes?

I love this industry and am so excited to absorb all the knowledge I can from the expert Bloguettes. Not only that, but there is something compelling about an office full of powerful women who are all go-getters but who also create an atmosphere that is cohesive to warmth and encouragement. That is where success thrives and I am excited to be a part of it.

Name 3 things you need to be successful in your job position.

  1. Attention to detail/organizational skills
  2. Flexibility
  3. Tenacity

Finish this sentence: The motto of my life is…

“To see beauty even if it is not pretty every day” -Oriah Mountain Dreamer

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spend time with family, travel, dance, do hair… sometimes all at the same time! 🙂

How would you describe your personal style?

Comfortable, feminine, and bohemian.

What are your 3 favorite emojis and why?

My most used emojis are probably my favorite since I always use them… ?  ? ??

Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?

In the Phoenix area, we will hit Bahama Bucks, hike Camelback, go all around the ASU Tempe campus, and then maybe to Old Town for some dancing. BUT if you’re visiting me, then I will also likely take you to the bests: Thatcher (my hometown) and Sedona.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your entire life, what would it be?

Bean and cheese burritos from Burger House (Miami, AZ)– we will stop there for lunch on our drive to Thatcher 😉

Who is your hero and why have they made such an impact in your life?

My mom and Great-Auntie Trini are two energetic, Spanish women that I have always tried to model my life after. They have shown me, in their own way, what it looks like to be accomplished professionally and personally. Mama has friends ALL over the world simply because she understands the value communication (and a good dance party). Auntie Trini is the youngest 84-year-old, not just because she loves the Kardashians, but because she enjoys new ideas and concepts. In fact, she was the first to ever tell me about Uber. Both women do not depend on anyone to enjoy life–they find their joy within themselves.

What is the best gift you’ve ever received?

My goldendoodle puppy named Ruby that I got for Christmas from my husband! #dogmom
