What do you love most about working at Bloguettes?
I love working at Bloguettes for many reasons! One reason is because every day is something new. We are constantly growing and trying new things and it is definitely not your typical “desk job”. Another thing I love about Bloguettes is the girl power within the company, and how strong and independent all my co-workers are.
Name 3 things you need to be successful in your job position.
I need a lot of things to be successful at my job when it comes to equipment! Besides camera equipment and editing software I need a positive attitude, adapting to change, and an easygoing attitude to be successful. The video world is crazy and if the audio messes up or if you missed a big shot, you just need to stay positive and get creative.
Finish this sentence: The motto of my life is…
The motto of my life is to grow, explore, create, help, and be happy every day.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like to work on my personal blog and my YouTube channel, big surprise huh? When I finally put my camera down and my computer away I enjoy working out, traveling, Netflix binging with my fiancé, and smothering my parents’ dogs.
How would you describe your personal style?
I wish I could, but honestly, I don’t have one set style. One day I am skater and the next I am preppy. If I had to pick one look I do the most though, it would be a California beach boho look. I don’t like to put myself in a box–I love to express myself through all different looks.
What are your 3 favorite emojis and why?
My three favorite emojis are are “heart eyes,” “hugging happy emoji,” and “two pink hearts.”
Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
I like to take my out-of-town guests to downtown Phoenix. I went to school and lived down there for a while so I like to show them the history in the city and of course, all the artwork on the walls and sidewalks.
What are your pet peeves?
I am germaphobic so my “pet peeve” is pretty extreme when it comes to germs. I really don’t like things like children’s stickers and band-aids because they get gross dirty things stuck to them, and I REALLY don’t like when people put stickers on their skin. I also have a slight case of OCD, so my feet have to be washed before bed.
If you were an ice cream flavor, what would you be and why?
If I were an ice cream flavor I would be pomegranate with chocolate chunks because I am fun and healthy like pomegranate, but I also have a rebel side like mixing fruit, ice cream, and chocolate together.
Who is your favorite Disney character and why?
This is probably the hardest question—I LOVE Disney! My fiancé actually proposed to me in Disneyland so it runs pretty deep in my blood. I would have to say Rapunzel from Tangled or Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I love both of these characters because they are so curious, love to explore, and don’t let anyone or anything hold them back. I don’t want to speak too soon but there will be a Hawaiian princess released in the next year or so and she might become one of my faves (I love Hawaii and the ocean).
