Meet Johnny, our Executive Assistant and first ever Boyguette! He was our Marketing intern this past spring before joining the team full-time. As our Executive Assistant, he’s in charge of managing calendars, attending meetings and following up with our different departments, and making sure everything runs smoothly in the office overall. Keep reading to learn more about Johnny and his role here at Bloguettes!

What do you love most about working at Bloguettes?

I love that every day is different. No one day is the same, so, when I get of bed, I don’t know what to expect until I check the calendar — (which by the way is always insane!) and things are constantly changing. — I don’t know how our co-founders do it, but they’re booked up solid. It’s truly inspiring to watch them,  and all of the team work, and that’s a great part too. I love coming in here each day, it’s super motivating.

Tell us a little bit about what you do day-to-day as an Executive Assistant!

I manage calendars and coordinate a few of our schedules. I also attend meetings and take notes and follow-up with any necessary parties. I also relay tasks from executives to the team, and just try to help out wherever I can! I’m happy to do whatever’s asked of me or whatever needs to be done!

Name 3 skills you need to be successful in your job position.

Organization!

Diligence.

Ability to multitask.

Finish this sentence: The motto of my life is….

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I’m a couch potato, I like hanging at home watching critically-acclaimed dramas for an hour or two in the evening, before going to bed with my wife by like 8:30 haha. We’re 6 months into marriage, but have always been and old married couple in that regard. Aside from that, I like hanging out with friends, getting drinks, apps + sserts, skateboarding, travelling if I’ve got enough spare time. I like exploring.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I was a typical boy, I wanted to be a professional athlete, or to own my own business.. So I’ve still got a chance at one of those!
