If there’s one girl who can do a little bit of everything & do it well, it’s our super fashionista gal, Allison! As our executive assistant, we can trust her with designing graphics, calling sponsors, handling our sometimes rambunctious wi-fi, & buying everything from Sharpies to pineapples! She really can do absolutely anything and in everything she does, she does with a bright smile & carefully styled outfit! On the side, she’s a writer for Colabination, a blog featuring local designers, & College Fashionista where she features girls with a savvy sense of style!
What do you love most about working at Bloguettes?
I love the women I work with. They are all such creative, strong, intelligent, wonderful people and I am inspired by them and all that they do. Bloguettes would not be Bloguettes if it weren’t for the amazing team behind it.

Finish this sentence: The motto of my life is…
I have two favorites. My grandmother always said, “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” My other one is YOLO. Not the cheesy Drake type of YOLO, but the mantra to take each day like it’s your last and to live each day to the fullest. Be adventurous, be brave, and be bold.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to hang out with my family, friends, and boyfriend. I enjoy traveling, going on adventures, scuba diving, cooking, being active, shopping, and doing anything creative (specifically design, fashion, and art).
How would you describe your personal style?
My style is ever-changing and my closet has been described as eclectic. I can range anywhere from boho, to glam, to Nasty Gal edgy. It all depends on the day!
What are your 3 favorite emojis and why?
-Heart Eyes: I probably use this one the most, it’s adorable and actually describes my inner emotions perfectly.
-Tongue Sticking Out: I used to think this one was a creepy drool stare…but I’ve learned to love it. It can mean a variety of emotions.
-Smiley Poop Guy: This last one was hard to choose. I don’t use this emoji often, but I just find it funny more than anything. Why is a poop smiling?? I don’t know, but it amuses me every time.
Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
I love to take people to True Food! I’m a vegetarian and they have great options for my guests and me. It’s a refreshing restaurant that utilizes sustainable practices and incorporates local and organic goods into their menu whenever possible.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
One meal is hard, but probably something vegan from a Thai or Asian restaurant. Those dishes are delicious and normally have a good balance of healthy carbs, veggies, and plant-based protein.
What are 3 things you can’t live without?
Love, friendship, & happiness.
What is one movie you will never get tired of watching?
