Meet Bailey! She’s our creative assistant and handles everything related to our YouTube channel! Whether she’s designing graphics for our weekly newsletter or shooting and editing educational or funny lifestyle videos, she takes all of our ideas & turns them into visual masterpieces! When she’s not busy with school or Bloguettes, she’s working on her own fashion YouTube channel! One thing you wouldn’t guess about Bailey–she’s only 18!! We couldn’t live without our baby Bloguette and you’ll understand why once you read her interview! Scroll on!

What do you love most about working at Bloguettes?
I love being able to incorporate my creative side into work! Not a day goes by where I don’t learn something new from my fellow Bloguettes and I wouldn’t want it any other way! There is never a boring day here in the studio and I love being surrounded by such fun and inspiring people!

Name 3 things you need to be successful in your job position.

  • A planner – gotta stay organized! I can’t forget about any tasks that need to be completed!
  • A snack (apples are my go-to) – working hard makes you hungry!
  • Eye drops – my eyes get tired and dry looking at the computer for a long time so it’s nice to have some eye drops on hand to feel refreshed!

Finish this sentence: The motto of my life is…
“Only dead fish go with the flow.”

What do you like to do in your free time?
On the rare occasion that I do have some free time, it’s usually spent hanging out with my mom or my friends, but I also do my fair share of online shopping and Netflix watching when I have some downtime!

How would you describe your personal style?
My style is always changing! But for the most part, I like to stick to classic, simple pieces and shake things up with accessories. I’ll wear anything I feel comfortable & confident in!

What are your 3 favorite emojis and why?
Blushing face – because it’s the only appropriate response to something cute!
Hands up – because it’s the perfect way to say YES.
Little elephant – because it’s just so dang cute!

Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
I love going downtown when people come to visit! There are so many cute little restaurants and coffee shops, but the two I always make sure to stop at are Luxe Central (the cutest coffee shop) and Hob Knobs.

Choose a unique item from your wallet/purse and explain why you carry it around.
I always have a roll of washi tape with me! I love using it in my planner to help organize my days a bit better!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to work at a grocery store. Scanning all of the food looked so much fun! Thankfully, I discovered the self-checkout and I was able to fulfill that dream.

If you could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be & what would you eat?
I would probably have dinner with my great grandmother. I would love to pick her brain about everything she saw growing up. She was born in 1914 so I’m sure that she would have a ton of stories to tell! We would probably eat some mac and cheese, that’s what she would always make me when I visited her.
