What do you love most about working at Bloguettes?
My job is so fun! Seriously. Of course there are days when I’m plugged into my computer and barely coming up for air, but then I’ll look across the studio and Gabi is throwing confetti in the air for a photoshoot…so it all balances itself out.
Name 3 things you need to be successful in your job position.
A sense of humor, the ability to admit you made a mistake, and a willingness to keep trying anyway.
Finish this sentence: The motto of my life is…
“Say yes, and you’ll figure it out afterward.” That, and “YOLO,” because it applies to anything and everything.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I am addicted to Snapchat and Korean paper face masks, and Snapchatting selfies while wearing said face masks. Going out to eat is a regular pastime as well. I spend an inordinate amount of time Yelp-ing restaurants and looking at food pictures while planning my next move.
How would you describe your personal style?
Laid-back. I tend to buy clothes in black, white, grey, or denim, and it takes me about two seconds to get dressed in the morning because everything already matches.
What are your 3 favorite emojis and why?
The thumbs-up emoji because it’s easier than typing ‘yes’ (I’ve been accused of overusing it), the COOL emoji because it’s funny to me, and the nail polish emoji because it’s pure sass.
Where’s your favorite place to take an out-of-town guest?
Probably La Grande Orange for lunch followed by shopping at Last Chance. Pizza and gelato followed by steeply discounted designer shoes—I cannot think of a better combination.
If you could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be & what would you eat?
My dad (he’s my favorite person to talk to for hours and hours), and we’d go out for sushi. It’s kind of our go-to meal whenever we get together. We’d go somewhere fancy, like Nobu in Malibu, and I’d cross my fingers for a Kardashian sighting.
Choose a unique item from your wallet/purse and explain why you carry it around.
My heart-shaped leather keychain. It is hand stamped with the phrase “YOLO.” A friend made it custom for me, and it makes me so happy every time I see it.
Name something on your bucket list.
Space travel via Virgin Galactic. It freaks me out but in a good way!
