Meet our talented intern Jordan! She keeps us calm with her easygoing personality and is always around to help. Jordan is on our social media team and helps us manage all of our social platforms. We love her simplistic style, which makes sense because after graduation, she wants to pursue a career in fashion. She even took a year off school to intern with Gap and Lucky Brand in Los Angeles (OMG)!
Where are you from and what brought you to Arizona?
I grew up in Sedona. I’m an Arizona native, born & raised.
What is your major in college and why?
Business/communications. I chose it because I want a degree in something that is broad enough to carry me through the business & fashion world.
If you weren’t living in Arizona, where would you like to live?
I would love to move back to LA in the nook right between Santa Monica & Venice. I would also love to live in New York City for at least 2 years at some point.
What are you usually doing on a rainy day?
Usually catching up on things that I’ve been wanting to get done organization-wise or cleaning haha! I’m a clean freak.
Describe your dream job.
My dream job is to work for Ralph Lauren as a stylist or buyer.
What do you love best about working for Bloguettes?
I love everything about Bloguettes; the creative energy, the ideas that are constantly flowing, and most of all, the team that we are surrounded by! It’s one giant fashion-forward family 🙂
Which types of blogs do you like best, and who are your favorite bloggers?
I love simplistic blogs that are related to more than one thing. My favorite blog is Cupcakes & Cashmere. I’ve been following it for a few years & it’s really neat to see how much it has grown.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love really low-key days with family & friends, as well as planning future trips (I have travel fever). As excited as I am for my next steps after school, career-wise, I can’t wait to explore.
Describe your personal style.
I would say simple & classic. My favorite brands are Ralph Lauren & Calvin Klein, but day-to-day, I’m a huge fan of places like Lucky Brand & Zara. I’m consistently perfecting that perfect balance of simple & classic while keeping it as authentic and genuinely me as possible.
What’s your favorite social media channel and why?
Instagram is probably my favorite, but I do love Vine. I don’t use it, but I follow some pretty funny people & whenever I need a good laugh, those six second videos never disappoint.
If your life was a TV show, what would the theme song be?
“In the Summertime” by Mungo Jerry because I love summer and it’s an upbeat, happy song!
How has being part of the Bloguettes team influenced you and your career path?
Being around so many independent, career driven women is really inspiring & only reminds me of the goals that I’m working & striving towards each day.
