Meet our ray of sunshine, Madison! She brightens up our day with her positive attitude and her willingness to work. Her peppiness may have to do with her background in cheerleading, she is currently on the ASU competitive cheer team. Madison is an intern on our events team and plans to pursue a career in this field when she graduates. If she’s not working at Bloguettes or Instagramming you can probably find her at the mall feeding her shopping addiction!

Where are you from and what brought you to Arizona?
I am from a coastal beach city in Los Angeles called Palos Verdes! I was brought to the Arizona area to attend school and cheer for Arizona State University!

What is/was your major in college and why?
I am currently a junior at ASU working towards my BA in communications and receiving my special events management certificate! I chose to pursue communications because it is such a great major that can lead you into multiple platforms such as event planning, PR, social media, and so much more!

If you weren’t living in Arizona, where would you like to live?
I have found Arizona to be a wonderful place for me during these four years of college, but upon graduation I would love to take on New York City for about a year and then go back to my beach home of Southern California! My three ideal cities would be West Hollywood, Pacific Palisades, or my favorite… Manhattan Beach!

What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to try, but never have?
I have always wanted to travel to Europe! I love going on adventures and exploring my own city but I would love to explore Paris, London, and Italy! I want to try new foods, see the fashion trends, and take in all the amazing views and historical places!

Describe your dream job?
My dream job is to work as a PR manager or an events director in the entertainment or fashion industry! I would also love to start my own lifestyle blog sometime soon!

What do you love best about working for Bloguettes?
The best part about working for Bloguettes is that each day, I am learning something new to put towards a step in my life and career path! Whether it’s finding the most “grammable” coffee shop sponsor for our Chicago workshop or trendy jewelry boutiques for goody bags, not a day goes by that I am not having fun! It doesn’t even feel like I am at work because of how much I love it! It’s been a true blessing working with this amazing group of women!

Which types of blogs do you like best, and who are your favorites?
My favorite blogs are fashion and food blogs! I love the fashion blog We Wore What! Her name is Danielle and she is always posting the best #ootd pics as she lives her amazing New York City lifestyle! And can’t forget about Refinery 29! They are one of my most favorite blogs from style to helping me find the best trendy food spots around town!

What do you like to do in your free time?
I love spending my free time shopping, hitting up new local restaurants, spending time with my family, going to church, cheerleading, adventuring, and enjoying life!

Describe your personal style.
I love saying “everyday is a fashion show, and the world is your runway”! I always love trying new trendy styles, but keeping it natural and simple with a girly boho edge! You can always find me in LF, Free People, TopShop, or Brandy Melville!

What’s your favorite social media channel and why?
I have an Instagram obsession! There never goes a day or two without me posting a #foodstagram pic, outfit of the day selfie, or scenic adventure shot! I love Instagram because it creates a profile for you to keep all your memories of what you were doing, who you were with, where you are, and you can make so many connections through it!

What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is shopping, shopping, shopping! I seriously can’t go into a store without finding something “I need”! I’m always adding to my closet, decorating my apartment, or stocking up on cute accessories!

How has being part of the Bloguettes team influenced you and your career path?
Working for Bloguettes has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! The Bloguettes team has influenced me to be the best intern I can be! I wish I could be their intern forever! Being apart of Bloguettes has influenced my decision to continue working towards becoming an Events Director or PR manager one day! They have already taught me so much and I am so excited to continue learning so much more at an amazing company!
