Meet Megan, our marketing intern! She’s always got a smile on her face, from the minute she gets to the studio to the minute she leaves (even when she’s one of the last people here!). She helps us make workshops, mini workshops, and all over events happen and we’d be lost without her.
Where are you from and what brought you to Arizona? I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona but I currently live in Tempe for school.
What is your major in college and why? I am a finance major at ASU and plan on adding a minor in Design Management. I aspire to have a career where I can incorporate my love for both business and design.
If you weren’t living in Arizona, where would you like to live? I really enjoy traveling in general, but I would love to live in the city while I’m young and working, such as LA, NYC or London.
Describe your dream job. My dream job would be something where I can mix my number and analytical skills with my passion for design and fashion. I’m not exactly sure where it will take me, but I definitely see myself working in the corporate side of the fashion and beauty industry someday.
What do you love best about working for Bloguettes? I love the environment! Everyone is so fun and creative. It makes the time spent so much more enjoyable than a typical internship.
Which types of blogs do you like best, and who are your favorite bloggers? I have too many favorite blogs to name them all, but I like fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blogs in general.
What do you like to do in your free time? I spend most of my free time with friends — whether it’s at sorority events or eating delicious food somewhere. I also love working out and shopping.
Describe your personal style. I love very simple and classy pieces with detailed accessories. I wear lots of neutrals and stripes with gold jewelry.
What’s your favorite social media channel and why? I love Pinterest and Tumblr. I always look to them for fashion, beauty, and interior design inspiration.
How has being part of the Bloguettes team influenced you and your career path? Being a part of the Bloguettes team has encouraged me to truly follow my dreams and aspirations in regards to my future profession. They have taught me that with hard work and dedication, you can turn your passions into your career.
Kittens or puppies? Definitely puppies.
What’s your hidden talent? I’m strangely good at Sudoku puzzles which is what I call a finance major problem!
