It’s that time of the month again…we’re talking about the latest and greatest social media updates! The month of July seems to have flown by, and it seems like every time we turned around, our fave platforms were launching new features. Keep reading to find out what you might’ve missed!

Snapchat custom geofilter design dashboard

    Custom Geofilters: You can now create your own geofilters for as little as $5.99! It’s pretty simple to design and Snapchat offers fun fonts and allows you to upload your own custom elements. This feature is perfect for weddings, birthday parties, or any kind of special event!

    Shareable Links: You can now add links to your Snapchat! Just click the little paperclip on the right and type in the URL. Now all your friends can view your latest blog post via Snap!

    Backdrops: With the new feature, you can cut out the background on your Snap and insert a cute print. Time to get creative with your Snaps!

    Voice Filters: Now, you can remix the voices in your Snaps. Just tap the speaker at the bottom of the screen, and select from a range of voices to add some ‘oomph’ to your Snapchat game!

    Snap Maps: Stalking has been taken to a whole new level with this feature. You can now view where your friends are across the globe at any time! When in camera mode, simply ‘pinch’ the screen to be taken to your map!

    Tint Brush: Lastly, you can now change the color of your hair to match your shirt! Just click the scissors icon, outline the object, and pick the color!

    Live Video Replay: You can now watch live videos even after they’re over! They last 24 hours after the live filming, so now you don’t have to worry about missing your fave celebrity’s video!

    Replies for Live Video: Users can now reply individually to live videos for a more private experience.

    In-Between Posts: Stories now appear in between posts so you never miss any updates from your best friend.

    Cover Videos: No more boring cover photos, because you can now use video! Just keep in mind that the video has to be the same dimensions as a cover photo and be 20-90 seconds long.

    Record Gifs: FB is currently testing a feature that would allow you to record your own gifs within the app. Stay tuned!

    App: LinkedIn recently launched their own app! It’s available in the App store is completely free. Now, you can check on your profile any time, anywhere!
