Our most recent Phoenix two-day branding workshop, held on August 16th and 17th at the SocialWhirled offices, was a complete blast. We had a huge assortment creatives in the class–from a vegan blogger, to a natural beauty makeup artist, to an artist who works with reclaimed wood–and there truly was something for everyone! Just like our class draws a wonderfully diverse crowd, the content covered in our classes runs the gamut when it comes to all things related to branding and blogging. The workshop is truly a one stop shop for people looking to start a business, launch their blog, re-brand something they’re already working on, or refresh their skills. Here’s a little glimpse into the workshop!
Each day started with fresh-from-the-oven pastries by local bakery Proof. On Saturday we had their signature pain au chocolat, and on Sunday, éclairs! Nothing like a little chocolate in the morning to get the creative juices flowing.
Oh Goodie Designs provided our students with these cute cups for the weekend, and snuck these personalize Bloguettes napkins in as a surprise–we’re obsessed!
We borrowed this gorgeous lace background from Cleo and Clementine, a custom dressmaking boutique in Downtown Phoenix. If you’re ever in the area you’ve got to check out their shop–you won’t want to leave.
Lunch for both days was catered by Flowerchild, which is the newest Fox Restaurant Concept to hit the area. Their menu is loaded with healthy dishes, with tons of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. They make it so easy to cater to a large group with varying tastes and dietary restrictions!
These funny ‘Believe In Your #Selfie’ totes (which we clearly couldn’t get enough of) came from NouVeau Riche Society. So perfect for a group of bloggers! We filled them up with an assortment of goodies for our students to take home.
Gold foil prints from B Is For Bonnie Design
Delicate gold earrings from Ann Revere Jewelry.
Sweet and simple necklaces from Barberry & Lace.
And of course, you can’t forget dessert. These little oatmeal cookies from Chestnut were perfect.
Wishbone bracelets from Kite & Ivy.
Adorable mini banners from The Banner Shoppe.
Ty from TunLL stopped by to hang out, snap pictures, and record some video for a little something special we have in the works. Keep an eye out!
Oh and notice that during the workshop, our students were totally in the zone! We love it! And hey, we get it! There’s so much to learn from this class that when you’re done, you’ll be hard pressed to find a moment when you’re not thinking about how to take elevate your brand! This August workshop was the last one we’ll be holding in Phoenix for a while, and we definitely ended on a high note! Over the next few months we’ll be hitting up San Diego, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Dallas, before coming back to our beloved hometown in February. If you or anyone you know is interested in getting involved with our four city tour, hit us up!
