If you’ve been to a Bloguettes workshop, you know that we LOVE Photoshop. There’s so much you can do in Photoshop when it comes to blogging and branding your business. It’s easy to see the toolbar as limited when you’re first getting the hang of Photoshop, but one thing we’ve come to learn is that the brush tool is capable of some really cool stuff. The default brushes that come with Photoshop are already pretty versatile, but if you’re looking to do even more with your brush, you’ll want to download the photoshop brush kits. There are tons of free downloadable brush kits available online, but today we’re sharing our absolute favorites.
Floral brushes are great for adding flourishes to graphics, collages or anything else you might be creating. We love this kit available on Deviant Art.
If you’re looking to add a personal touch to your designs in Photoshop, you should definitely consider downloading this markers brush kit from Premium Pixels. Paired with the Wacom Tablet, they write really nicely and enable you to use your own handwriting as a ‘font’!
Watercolor brushes are our very favorite! We love blowing them up and using them to create a wash as a background, or as a separate layer to insert into shapes or text. There are so many options available online, but we really love this kit from Brusheezy.
