Tools to Staying Fit in the Office

We get it. Getting the motivation to work out is hard enough. Add a 9AM-5PM (or longer!) work week to top it all off and that dwindling motivation to go the gym when you get home quickly poofs away by the time the clock strikes 5.

Having a personal desk/treadmill/bike would be convenient, but not everyone has the luxury or space to put that in the office. There should be a way to multitask getting fit and getting stuff done, right? Right! Lucky for us, there is! There are definitely tools that can help you stay fit even when you’re working away in the office. Take a peek at some of our favorites!

Poise and Proper

Sitting at a desk for eight hours or more takes a toll on your body. You feel stiff, want to stretch, slouch, and your booty may hurt. Something you can try out is an exercise ball chair. While hard proof is still needed, it has been said that sitting on a balance ball chair can help improve posture and stimulate core strength.

Hands of Healing

Typing emails, designing flyers, and writing up blog posts all day can strain your delicate hands. Strengthen and restore your hand muscles by trying one of these out.

Trim your waist while sitting? Yes please! Try out a waist wrap to slim down your waist and support your back all while sitting at your desk!

Super Stamina

If you want something a little more active, try a desk cycle. The machine easily fits under most desks and is a convenient way to cycle without lugging around the huge equipment. The machine’s monitor times your workout and has various resistance levels for the user to choose from.
